(2) A CNEXT project lead contacts you within 2 business days to clarify requirements. (3) CNEXT delivers a scoping estimate or project proposal within 5 business days. What information should I include in a project request?
Include: (1) Project type (SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Replit, Security, etc.). (2) Brief description of the problem to solve or goal to achieve. (3) Current state (what exists today). (4) Number of users / organisation size. (5) Timeline (when do you need to go live?). (6) Budget range (approximate, CHF). (7) Key constraints (regulatory, technical, organisational).
How long does it take to receive a project proposal?
CNEXT's standard response times: initial contact within 2 business days, scoping questions (if needed) within 2 business days, project proposal/fixed-price quote within 5 business days of receiving all information. For simple, well-defined projects, CNEXT can sometimes provide a proposal within 2–3 business days.
Does CNEXT do a free discovery before sending a proposal?
CNEXT includes a 30-minute free discovery call in the proposal process for projects >CHF 20,000. This call helps CNEXT understand your specific situation and provide a more accurate proposal. For smaller projects, CNEXT provides a proposal based on the written requirements. Paid discovery workshops are recommended for complex or large transformations.
Does CNEXT do fixed-price projects?
Yes. CNEXT delivers most projects on a fixed-price basis after a discovery phase. Fixed-price projects have a clear scope, defined deliverables and acceptance criteria. Change requests outside scope are managed via a formal change order process. For research-heavy or exploratory projects, CNEXT uses time-and-materials with weekly budget reporting.
Can CNEXT work with an existing IT team?
Yes. CNEXT works in three modes: (1) Full delivery (CNEXT does everything, client provides access and approvals), (2) Augmentation (CNEXT works alongside the client IT team, the client team handles some tasks), (3) Advisory (CNEXT provides the methodology and reviews work done by the client team). The mode is agreed at project start based on client capacity and preferences.
What project management methodology does CNEXT use?
CNEXT uses an agile/scrum-inspired approach for most projects: 2-week sprints with a demo at the end of each sprint, client feedback incorporated in the next sprint, a live project status site in SharePoint and weekly written status emails. For projects with strict governance requirements (pharma, finance), CNEXT adapts to waterfall or a hybrid approach.
Does CNEXT have reference clients I can speak with?
Yes. Upon request, CNEXT can arrange a reference call with a Swiss client who has completed a similar project. We have reference clients in banking, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, professional services and public sector who have agreed to speak with CNEXT prospects. Reference calls are arranged within 5 business days.
What is CNEXT's minimum project size?
CNEXT's minimum project engagement is CHF 5,000 (typically 1–2 weeks of work). For smaller requests (specific configuration, a Power Automate flow, a single web part), CNEXT recommends the Instant Help service (from CHF 180/session). There is no maximum project size – CNEXT has delivered projects from CHF 5,000 to CHF 500,000+.
Does CNEXT sign NDAs before project discussions?
Yes. CNEXT is willing to sign mutual NDAs before detailed project discussions involving sensitive business information or intellectual property. CNEXT has a standard NDA template, or we can review and sign a client-provided NDA. NDA turnaround is typically 1–2 business days.
