FAQ
What are AI agents?
AI agents are autonomous AI systems that can perceive context, make decisions and execute multi-step tasks without human intervention at every step. Built with Microsoft Copilot Studio or Azure AI Foundry, agents can: answer questions from company knowledge bases, trigger Power Automate workflows, query ERP systems and escalate to humans when needed.
What types of AI agents does CNEXT build?
CNEXT builds: conversational FAQ agents (answer questions from SharePoint/OneDrive knowledge), process agents (trigger and monitor multi-step business processes), data retrieval agents (query ERP, CRM, databases in natural language), document processing agents (extract data, classify, route documents) and multi-agent orchestrations (multiple specialists coordinated by an orchestrator agent).
How long does it take to build an AI agent?
Simple FAQ agent (SharePoint knowledge, Teams deployment): 1–2 weeks. Process agent (SharePoint knowledge + Power Automate actions + Teams deployment): 3–6 weeks. Complex multi-step agent with ERP integration: 6–12 weeks. CNEXT builds a live prototype in week 1 so clients can provide feedback early.
What is the Microsoft Copilot Studio licence model?
Copilot Studio uses a message-based pricing model. Tenants receive 25,000 messages/month included with M365 E3/E5 or a standalone Copilot Studio licence. Additional messages are approximately CHF 0.01 each. For most SMB agent deployments (1 agent, 200 users, ~10 queries/user/month = 2,000 messages/month), the included quota is sufficient.
Can AI agents be embedded in Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Copilot Studio agents deploy to Teams in 2 clicks. The agent appears as a bot in Teams: users chat with it in the Teams 'Chat' tab or in a dedicated Teams App. The agent can also post proactive messages to Teams channels (e.g. 'Your leave request has been approved'). CNEXT deploys all Copilot Studio agents to Teams as the default channel.
How do AI agents access company data securely?
Copilot Studio agents access company data via: SharePoint (native Microsoft Graph connection, respecting permissions), Power Automate (for ERP/CRM/database queries), HTTP actions (for REST APIs) and Azure Key Vault (for secrets). The agent only accesses data that the calling user has permission to see – SharePoint permissions are enforced at query time.
What is the difference between a Copilot Studio agent and Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot (CHF 30/user/month) is a general AI assistant across Office apps. A Copilot Studio agent is a CUSTOM AI built for a specific purpose (IT helpdesk, HR onboarding, contract analysis) with specific knowledge sources, specific permitted actions and specific conversation flows. Both can coexist in a Microsoft 365 tenant.
How is an AI agent FADP-compliant?
CNEXT implements FADP compliance for AI agents: data processed within M365 compliance boundary (Swiss/EU data residency), no sensitive personal data in knowledge bases without DPIA, Sensitivity Label restrictions (agent cannot access Highly Confidential documents), audit logging of all agent interactions, responsible AI settings in Copilot Studio and user transparency (agent identifies itself as AI).
What are the most successful AI agent use cases in Swiss enterprises?
CNEXT's most successful Swiss AI agent use cases: IT helpdesk first-line (60–70% deflection rate, CHF 50,000–150,000/year savings), HR onboarding assistant (30–40% reduction in HR query volume), contract summary agent (2-hour → 5-minute contract review for legal teams) and SharePoint knowledge agent (employees find policies in 1 interaction vs. 5–10 minutes of manual searching).
Does CNEXT offer AI agent managed services?
Yes. CNEXT managed services for AI agents: monthly usage and quality monitoring (resolution rate, user satisfaction, message volume), prompt optimisation based on analytics, knowledge source refresh (SharePoint content updates propagated to agent knowledge), new capability additions and escalation handling improvements. Pricing from CHF 500/month per agent.
