The Challenge
BMC wanted to build a Copilot Studio agent for product and supplier knowledge themselves – close to the business, with their own team. What was missing: an experienced sparring partner who knows the typical pitfalls, brings established good practices, and helps with the security model.

Our Solution
CNEXT accompanied BMC as an enablement partner – the BMC team built the agent themselves, with our input at the critical points. We shared what we bring from other Copilot Studio projects: topic design, prompt patterns, knowledge source selection, testing, rollout.
Architecture and code reviews at key decision points. We developed the security model together in workshops: which data sources can the agent access?
How are M365 permissions passed through? How do we protect sensitive supplier terms?

The Result
The agent is live – built, operated, and developed further by the BMC team themselves. Sales, inside sales, aftersales, and support get answers directly in Teams.
The most important outcome: BMC owns the knowledge to develop the agent independently. CNEXT was a sparring partner, not a bottleneck.
