2. Scope
This privacy policy describes how we collect, use and protect personal data when you visit our website cnext.ch or use our services. We process data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. What Data We Process
- Server log data (IP address, user agent, timestamp, accessed pages) to ensure operation.
- Data from contact and newsletter forms (name, email, message) that you actively submit to us.
- Usage data and behavioural analytics via the analytics tools listed below.
4. Cookies & Tracking Tools
We use the following tools to improve our offering:
- Google Analytics (audience measurement, Google Ireland Limited)
- Microsoft Clarity (session analytics, Microsoft Corporation)
- Google Tag Manager (tag management)
These tools may set cookies and transfer data to countries outside Switzerland/EU. You can disable cookies in your browser.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
Your data is only disclosed to third parties when necessary to provide our services (e.g. hosting, email delivery, payment processing) or with your explicit consent.
6. International Data Transfers
The tools we use (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Tag Manager) may transfer data to the USA or other countries outside Switzerland/EU. We rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, and – where required – on your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 17 revFADP.
7. Retention Periods
- Server log data: maximum 90 days, then automatically deleted or anonymised.
- Contact form enquiries: up to 24 months for follow-up and traceability, then deleted.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until unsubscribed; then deleted without delay.
- Accounting and contract records: 10 years pursuant to Art. 958f Swiss Code of Obligations.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to information, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. Please send requests by email to mail@cnext.ch.
9. Supervisory Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, edoeb.admin.ch.
