FAQ

What is CNEXT Instant Help?

CNEXT Instant Help is a fixed-rate remote consultation (30 or 60 minutes) with a Microsoft 365 or AI specialist. You get direct access to an expert for specific questions, troubleshooting, architecture decisions or sanity checks – without a full project engagement. Same-day slots available Tuesday–Thursday.

What topics can be covered in a CNEXT Instant Help session?

Instant Help covers: SharePoint Online (permissions, search, governance, web parts, workflows), Power Apps/Automate (formula bugs, connector errors, flow logic), Power BI (DAX questions, visual design, data model), Copilot Studio (agent behaviour, knowledge source issues, connector errors), Replit (deployment, Microsoft 365 integration) and Microsoft 365 Security (Conditional Access, Entra ID, Defender).

How long does a CNEXT Instant Help session take?

Sessions are available in 30-minute (CHF 180) or 60-minute (CHF 320) slots. Most specific technical questions are resolved in 30 minutes. Architecture discussions and complex troubleshooting typically use 60 minutes. Sessions run via Microsoft Teams with screen sharing.

How do I prepare for an Instant Help session?

Preparation tips: have a specific question or issue ready (the clearer the question, the more useful the answer), prepare screenshots or recordings of errors, prepare access to the relevant Microsoft 365 admin centre or Copilot Studio environment (screen share), and list any context (licences in use, existing configuration, what you've already tried).

Can Instant Help lead to a full project?

Yes, if needed. Instant Help sessions sometimes reveal a larger issue that benefits from a structured CNEXT project. At the end of every Instant Help session, CNEXT provides a written summary and, where relevant, a scoping estimate for follow-on work. There's never any pressure to proceed.

Is Instant Help available outside Swiss business hours?

Standard slots: Tuesday–Thursday, 08:00–18:00 CET. Morning slots (07:00–08:00) and evening slots (18:00–20:00) are available on request with 24h advance notice. CNEXT can also arrange weekend sessions for urgent production issues at a 50% surcharge. Contact CNEXT to arrange non-standard slots.

Can multiple team members join an Instant Help session?

Yes. The session fee covers the time, not the number of attendees. Up to 4 attendees from the same organisation can join. For structured group training (5+ people, specific learning objectives), CNEXT recommends a dedicated training session instead of Instant Help.

What if the question cannot be resolved in 30 minutes?

If a 30-minute session runs over, CNEXT can extend to 60 minutes at the same rate (pro-rated). If the issue requires offline research (e.g. reviewing a complex Power BI data model or SharePoint audit logs), CNEXT may provide follow-up findings within 24 hours as part of the session fee.

Is a CNEXT Instant Help session recorded?

Sessions are recorded only with explicit consent from all participants. CNEXT sends a written summary of key findings and recommendations after every session by email – so you have a reference regardless of whether the session is recorded.

How do I book a CNEXT Instant Help session?

Book via: the CNEXT booking page (instant.cnext.ch – direct calendar link for Instant Help slots), email (hallo@cnext.ch with 'Instant Help' in the subject and your preferred time and topic), or phone (+41 31 xxx xxxx). Confirmation and Teams meeting link sent within 30 minutes of booking.
