The Challenge
Hospitality training runs in parallel across school and workplace. Apprentices move between classroom and practical placement, teachers coordinate with businesses, and class assignments change continuously.
The existing IT landscape couldn't reflect this: no shared document management, no structured device setup, no automatic account control when classes changed. Administrative work was created manually at every semester change.

Our Solution
We set up Microsoft 365 Education ready for rollout and connected School Data Sync (SDS) directly to ESCADA.
SDS automatically takes over classes, apprentices, and teachers – without any manual IT intervention.
SharePoint serves as the central repository for teaching materials and exam documents, Teams as the communication channel between teachers and apprentices.
Intune manages all school devices uniformly, including configuration profiles and app rollouts.
Digital forms replace paper for assessments and absence reports.

The Result
Over 300 apprentices and all teachers work on a shared platform. Class changes and new enrolments run automatically – IT effort per semester dropped by around 80%. Devices are centrally managed, teaching materials accessible everywhere.
