The Challenge
Windows 10 was reaching end of support.
Maurus Schifferli BSLA, a landscape architecture firm with over 20 workstations, needed an orderly upgrade plan that wouldn't disrupt ongoing operations.
Key requirements: all planning and CAD applications had to remain compatible, printers and peripherals couldn't fail, and employees needed a smooth migration without data loss.

Our Solution
We inventoried all workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices and tested every application for Windows 11 compatibility.
Incompatible hardware was identified and replaced in advance.
The rollout happened in three phases: pilot group, department-by-department deployment, final migration.
Parallel training sessions for Windows 11, Microsoft Edge, and the new security features.
All user profiles and data were backed up beforehand.

The Result
All 20+ workstations now run smoothly on Windows 11, without a single project being delayed. The new security features (TPM, Secure Boot) protect the office.
Employees work more productively with the new features. The firm is technologically secured for the next 5+ years.
